I’m Hanna, founder of Academic Edge. I earned my B.S. in Mathematics from Elon University, where I developed a strong foundation in the subject before stepping into the classroom to teach and work directly with students. After gaining hands-on teaching experience, I went on to earn my M.S. in Mathematics with an emphasis in education from Grand Canyon University, allowing me to further refine both my content knowledge and teaching approach.

Throughout my time teaching and tutoring students from middle school through college, I’ve seen firsthand how overwhelming math can feel—and how much of a difference the right support can make. My experience in both classroom and one-on-one settings has shaped my approach to be flexible, supportive, and tailored to each student. I focus on breaking down concepts step-by-step, reinforcing understanding, and creating a positive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, building confidence, and growing.
